I've asked many opinions on this topic, and came down to two:

NGK Irdium Platinum vs NGK iridium


i know our maxes come w/platinum to begin with...is it worth the 60 bucks to get them? or just go w/the simple NGK iridium?

major difference?

not to make it worse but i would get the NGK Coppers at 2 buck a piece, you will have to change them sooner but the price offset makes a big difference and the performance is the same.

coppers are cheaper and spark better the only thing is you will have to change them in half the time you would with platinums.

 

Both plugs are pretty much dead on in performance, the platinum may last a bit longer.

 

i checked on ebay, but cant find anything but the NGK iridiums...where can i find the platinum or coppers?

 

goto the dealer and the coppers are 2 bucks each, if you search youll find the part numbers.
