Is PEP BOYS a good place for this?

Hey Max family

Just a quick question, On a scale of 1-10 I would say IM a 4 in the DIY business. I changed the KS and cleaned the throttle body myself and theres a few other things I want to do. Pep Boys want the following...

Alignment $55
Tranny flush $90
Cooling system flush $55

I would attempt to do the above myself but time is a issue. Is this a decent price? IM anti dealership but my car is my baby and I want it done right the first time

Any any all advice is appreciated

I'd go to PepBoys for those, then again the prices seem to be the same at other places I'd go first. I don't believe you can do an allignment yourself...

If you do the tranny flush with them, check to see what type of fluid they are putting in your car. If you were wanting something special, like Mobil 1 synthetic ATF, it will cost you more. I'd DIY if you can find the time.

I would do it yourself. 2 out of the 3 times my friend has taken his car to Pep Boys, they really haven't fixed his specific problem, but they have managed to severe vacuum lines twice! If you do go there make sure it is a decent one...the PepBoys here sucks!
