Door light not working anymore

when removing the drivers side door light bulb I accidentaly touched the metal with a screwdriver and the light went out. the bulb is still good but it seems that I shorted something. I looked for a fuse but all I can find was a fuse that said interior lights but that fuse is good. anyone know what the problem is? any particular fuse I should look for?

get a test light or logic probe and re-check ALL fuses...

I've been trying to find the cure for this for a few months, i did the same thing you did

I"'ve checked everthing, and if you look at the schematic, the door lights and dome are ran on the same fuse/relay, so if one goes out they should all be out. I'm gonne check it out again tomm, but I think there is an inline fuse somewhere

yea, its weird. all the rest of my lights work fine but that one. I might just take the door panel off and look around for something melted or something

there is no fuse for door-lights, if you trace the wires they go into window switch. You probably fried something inside. Get a new window switch.

anyone else know the solution? Just for the heck of it, I took apart my drivers side window switch, took apart the whole thing and I didnt see anything that shows signs of burnt or blown circuit components. not shure what to look for now.

just get a window switch from a local junkyard n replace it..after that, your light problem will go away. i had the same problem before.
