Will Skyline R32 headlights fit onto 99 Maxima without modification

I am going to purchase a set of Skyline R32 projector headlights for my 99 maxima SE limted. From what I can visual see the front the headlights look the same as the 99 Maxima headlight, but the blub is different ( I believe it's an H1) Can anyone confirm the fitment of the R32 headlights into the 99 maxima without modification.

I can bet you they won't fit. And how can you say they look the same when you haven't probably even seen the actual scale pictures of them, or seen what the brackets look like, or the bends and curves. If they did many people would have them, seeing they cost the same as replacement lights. They know better...

your title is misleading... i think a few people have them and say they do need some modification to fit. not completely positive on that or if it was just talk.

they fit, but not without modification.. the bulbs will work fine, but you have to modify the back of the bulb and the frame of the car itself.. check kanaka's thread, he has them installed

Yes, a more clear subject would have been much appreciated.

you can get them to fit if you have lots of money and bring them to a body shop, the thing is the price they charge you to fit those headlights are very close to the price theyd charge you to fit in S4 or G35 lights.

Sorry I forgot to include "Will" at the beginning of the sentence. I know anything will fit with money and modification. But thanks for showing me the thread on this.

Those are Cefiro headlights, not Skyline headlights.

trust me, they will not fit with just sanding and a little clipping here and there.. I already tried that route.. you need to take some of the frame off for them to fit.. doable, but a big pain in the azz
