painting 95-96 red/clear tails

I just got my hands on some 95-96 all clear tail lights, and I was wondering what paint/process to use to make them into red/clears.

Send them to me. I'll paint them.

Don't expect them returned.

have you searched? i think there are many threads on this but i believe you can use candy apple red, made by testors. you can paint the outside but you can also open them up after putting them in the oven and paint the inside.

I got them off another org member, they were in the for sale forum. If you look often enough you should be able to find a pair, or a pair of red clears.

I'm actually doing mine right now, so I'll let you know how they look tomorow. I'm just painting the outside, then I'm going to clearcoat them when I'm done. How many coats do you plan on using? that's the one thing I'm not sure about

Good luck taking them apart. I painted mine on the outside. Check out pages 2-3 for pics and description of the process I used.
