suspension Q's

ive been riding my 95 se (bone stock) for a couple months and ive got a couple questions. ive been wanting to upgrade the suspension on this bad boy. im thinking tokico illuminas and either H&R or Tein s-techs (which just came out) all around. i want that suttle yet great perfoming car on the twisties without sacrificing comfortablilty. is it okay to run aftermarket springs and oe shocks (with 88k miles)? any suggestions? oh yeah hows the stillen front strut bar? thanks.

two answers:
no, it is not o.k. to run aftrmkt springs with oem shocks, especially if you do not want to sacrifice luxury which is hard to do with aftrmrkt susp.

all strut bars perform the same pretty much, as long as it puts resistance between the strut towers.

IMO my ES bushings(front sway bar and end link) helped ALOT more than my strut bar.

H&R/Illuminas are a great well tested combo, go for it.
If you want to research a bit more options, go here:

I have EBay front and rear strut bar(s), Tokico Illumina struts, and H&R springs. Rides the same as it did bone stock but DEFINITELY handles better.
