Just did the mod to my door pillars the other day. Basically, you just use a hairdryer (or heatgun's better, but I don't have one) and you peel of the crappy tape that's all faded to reveal the beautiful paint underneath that's the color of your car! I got some pics if ya wanna check them out--I made this crappy website just for these pics, so sorry bout the layout, but whatever, it does the trick. The pictures start with done, then go to the half way mark, then to the before. You should do this mod, it looks sooo much better!

Yeah i like the black when its kept there. personal preference though ya know.

 

mine's a white max and its a stolen recovery so it sat in a lot in the sun for about a year and a half so that was fadded as all hell. i love it this way, but it is personal preferance
