what is this random plug when you take apart dash below steering wheel...?
i was doing something else but noticed this as i was putting it all back together. would i be right to assume it is for auto climate control, like temperature sensors? the plug was near it but i never knew what that was for either. as you can see, it's on the panel next to the fuse panel. anyone want to confirm what this is? these nissans are crazy cuz they come prewired for everything. (such as my foglights which i learned today )

That little yellowish/white bob would be the beeper when you leave your ights on or the keys in your ignition. The wire that is just dangling would be what goes into it to make it work. Did you ever notice that there was no warning if you left your lights on with the car off? To check, just keep your car off with the keys out of the ignition and turn on your lights with the door open. If you don't hear any beeps, thats what it is. Then hook it up and try again. Hope this helps.
