my check engine light came on the other day. code is 1005 for the ergc solenoid valve. any write up on how to replace it.. its messin me up pretty bad. i can feel power loss. i cant chirp 2nd anymore. it use to be cake shifting at 5.5 in first.

how does this valve work and why would it make me lose so much power.
