This is a little OT, but bear with me. In my other car, Jeep CJ, I have something wrong. The battery is brand new, but it died, I had it recharged at Sears, and now its dead again. I think there is definately something draining it, but I had it charged again at my friends shop, and now when i turn the key there is a loud "Clicking" from under the hood. Do I get a new battery or what should I do? Im going to be embarrased if I send it down the shop and the battery is all thats bad.

Off Topic posts belong in the Off Topic forum. That's what it's there for.

Your Jeep's battery ...

1) Hidden drain such as an under-hood light which never switches off.

2) Charging system defect. Running the vehicle drains the battery but the charging system isn't putting anything back into the "bank account".

3) Defective battery.

Many auto parts chain stores (Advance Auto, AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc.) offer a no-cost charging system test. This is done with an electronic tester and takes only two minutes. Get your Jeep evaluated and you will know how to proceed.

Did you stop by an Autozone to have em test the battery? That's an easy way to see if your battery is still good. No idea why it keeps draining on ya though. Were any lights or accessories left on?
