Transmission Problem??
Transmission Problem??
I noticed that sometimes when I stop with my 95 SE the car feels like it goes to neutral for a second and then goes back to drive. It's a 4 speed auto. The car has about 80,000km. Has anyone ever had any problem like this? What could be causing it?

Have your transmission serviced.
Change/flush the fluid, drop the pan and clean the magnets and the screen. If that doesn't help you out, it may be time for a rebuild.

Ok thanks...I don't think the transmission fluid has ever been changed so I guess I will start with that.
My cousin said that his mechanic drained the transmission oil and put back in 2 quarts of new oil. He then ran the engine with the drain plug off until the oil stopped flowing. Is that a safe way to flush the transmission?...seem dangerous to me.
If there is a better way please let me know.

If you're paying for a flush, they should do it with a machine: http://www.fluidservicetech.com/productinfo.html
