Valve Body Mod? Good or Bad?

I just got my 95' Max and I had to get an auto due to the fact that I couldnt find a manual. I already know that the luxury shift on our cars slows the autos down but what I am wanting to know is if anyone has the Valve Body Modification done to their car, and how it is working. Have you had any problems with it, is it messing up your tranny, and does it really make the car shift faster. If anyone could comment it would help and be appreciated. Thanks.

Definitely get the VB and tranny cooler. Autos suck but if you gotta drive one, you might as well enjoy it.
I'll be selling mine this January when I convert to 5-speed, I have a Maximum Tuning stage 2.

In traffic the 1-2 shift can be felt but is not annoying by any means. At higher rpm's the shift is extremely noticable and profound. At redline, the shift is violent and jerks the wheel/chirps the tires
2-3 and 3-O/D shift are pretty much the same as stock with 2-3 being a tiny bit quicker.

Gotta love it!

You said at redline the shifts are violent is it me or does that sound bad for the tranny. I'm also really looking into a vb mod and tranny cooler. How long is downtime?

Believe it or not the VB is better for the tranny, prevents it from slipping. It runs hotter but the tranny cooler takes care of that.
I only had 3 hours of downtime because I bought my VB used and installed it myself

I like my VB mod it's cool since I don't have to wait so long for the tranny to shift to the next gear. I wish I would have gotten the 5spd....in fact I was thinking of having Turbo95Max do a swap for me. You could have my tranny w/VB mod from my 99 for a small fee of course
