JET Chip ?

I recently cut off my cat because I knew without it, it would give me a big increase in airflow and horsepower, and it did. But the problem is, is that now my ECU is totally screwed up. I have been told that if effected my back pressure and the ECU is set at a special setting to read a certain amount of back pressure. My Knock Sensor is failing, my O2 sensor is bad and my EGR is clogged up. So my plan was at first, to get all new senors and put an O2 simulator on so that the ECU would think that the back pressure is stock and all ok. Either that or get my ECU reprogrammed by JET. My question is, is there any other place like JWT that could do it, because I hear nothing but bad about JET. I am not even really sure it JET could do it. If anyone could tell me if JET could even do it, and if JWT might be able to do it or if there is any other way to solve my problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Your post is wrong on so many levels.

1. Not having a cat did not not "increase your air flow". Sorry, but it did nothing for your car unless your cat had broken up and was clogging your exhaust

2. Your ECU does not "read" back pressure.

3. Put the cat back on, relpace your bad o2 sensors, knock sensor and look into fixing your EGR valve.

4. Having your ECU reprogramed has nothing to do with what you seem to think it does. Do a little research into what a JWT ECU will do for ya.

5. Jet is junk.

6. oh, yhea. Taking out the cat did not screw up your ECU. Only thing that removing your cat would have to do with your ECU would be that you would probably get a rear o2 sensor code.

7. Fellow mods, please lock this thread.

Your o2's and other sensors may have been on the way out. Its probably a coincidence that it was triggered once you removed the cat.

I had the same problem swaping out my stock intake with a K&N. Knock sensor and the rear o2 kicked up ECU codes as well. Just my two cents
