How to Install 5th Gen Muffler onto Budget B-Pipe

I am going to be getting a 5th gen muffler. I need to have it installed on to a Budget B-pipe. What steps will I have to do to make it fit? I have been told a few things about welding it, and flanges. I would just like some clear instructions to help clarify what I need to be doing. Thanks

If you have to ask, it would be better for you to just take it to a muffler place and have them do it

Thanks but that comment does not help me at all. Only reply if you are going to give me any GOOD information. I haven't recieved the muffler yet so I do not know what the fittment is. I am asking people who may have done it already and know any tips.

if you are getting just the muffler, then u need to go to the exhaust shop to get a flange and ~ 2ft pipe welded.

1. Do you have the complete pipe that came stock with the muffler that bolted onto the 5th Gen B-Pipe?

2. If so then it just has to be shortened and a new flange welded on to mate with the Budget B-Pipe.

3. If not, ie the pipe was cut off at the muffler then you will have to have a new piece of pipe welded to the muffler and bent and flange welded to bolt onto the budget flange. This cost me $50 at an exhaust shop. Its better to have the flange welded on because then you can still go back to the stock muffler if you want or it makes it much easier if you later decide to part it out.

Maybe I should have searched harder, but I was not trying to be a *****. It is pointless to reply and tell me to take it to a shop. It does not answer my question.
