Oil Pressure Gauge Install

If somebody could give me the instructions or a basic outline to installing an Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge that would rock my world..

i also would like some info.

i ordered the auto meter elec oil pressure gauge.

i heard the hardest part was conn the sender. i was told that we need a tee that has 1- meteric male, 1- meteric female & 1- standard 1/4" female.

i was told that the first thing to do is find out what size meteric fitting our car uses.

no one here has an oil pressure gauge installed in there car?

The way I did it was by removing the stock sender, then attaching a metric to stadard adapter, and installing the gauge pressure sender. Once you have done that you will need to connect a wire from the sender to the gauge.

can you tell me what size was the metric to standard adapter?

what did you do to the stock oil pressure wire?

The first pic is when I tried to use an auto meter oil pressure switch. It didn't work since the maxima's idle oil pressure is too low. I just reused the OEM oil pressure switch and ran the wire all the way down to the OEM harness. The last pic shows the OEM oil pressure switch the the tee setup.

I got a open spot in my cluster so i think ima put a oil press. , were did you get your fitings from? what does autometer send with the kit?
