good idea?

because i'm kinda on a tight budget i was going to buy some lowering springs. now i know that i should pair these with aftermarket shocks but don't know if i can afford them till later. so my question is how long can i ride with my lowering springs with the stock shocks?

You can expect to blow the shocks out quickly and it will handle terribly and most likely bottom out a lot. Simply put, go with shocks and springs together, or nothing at all.

umm no, you can put a few thousand miles on them before the things blow on you. Or get some shocks of ebay for like $150...

it can depend on how many miles you have on your struts... typically the older they are, the quicker they will blow. but sometimes board members say they've gone a year+ with no problems with an older car... while others will last a month with a newer car. just depends on how lucky you are.

i went about 5000 before my stock shocks totally blew out. i would wait a couple months and save for shocks, it will be a pain in the *** to take them of again to put new shocks again. do it at the same time.
