Got rid of my cars slight hesitation

I installed a new fuel filter today before i went to the track (that got rained out), and the old one when i turned it upside down brown water/gas came out. So on went the new one. Took about 5 minutes to do the whole thing. Well after the track got canceled I was out driving back from my girls house and decided to get on it on this straight away by my house. (no houses around or people) and to my surprise the slight hesitation that use to be there on the 2nd to 3rd shift was gone. I always thought this was a problem from when I converted to 5 speed. All my friends can hear the exhaust hesitate at the track too. They ask what I am doing, like misshifting or whatnot. Maybe this will help alittle...BTW- the old filter only had about 20k miles on it.

That sounds like my problem. What filter did you use?

The larger 300ZX filter only lasts longer. It does not enhance performance or filtration.

Tru Dat B...... I found that the regular purolator one for the SE works just fine, and costs less. No more 300ZX filters for me

I think you guys are imagining things, unless the filter is extreamly clogged and I stress extremem you wont notice any gains when replacing it
