B-pipe clanking against the rear body of car... any solutions?

I just recently installed my Cattman SS y-pipe, a RT Cat, Stillen B-pipe, and Stillen Rear Exhaust, and under hard throttle and some bumps, I can hear it clanking against the heat shields, or the body or somthing. Has anyonl else had this problem, and know how to fix it?

shake the pipe when it's not hot and try to locate

the area where it's heating... if it's a heat shield just bend it out of the way.

Have the same problem got underneath the car and shook the pipe, it hits right next to the rear wheel, and two of the bolts on the cat are hitting each other. Am going to try to get it fixed today.

I had the same EXACT problem with my Stillen B pipe...it's banging against the "cross bar" under the car...it's the little metal bar that goes across the B pipe, to keep it from falling down just in case it comes looses. I took this piece off, and the rattles are gone. This should help eliminate the clanking. Good luck!!

Somewhat fixed

I took my car to the local Cole Muffler, and the guy put it up on the lift, and then he heated the bar coming off of the B pipe, and bent it so it would move less. Then he bent one of the heat shields back a little. It was solved....but at about 65-70mph, when i let off the accelerator completely (ie. full backpressure), it vibrates slightly loud. I will try out this cross bar thing, though. Maybe that will do it
