new member................

Hello everyone.!!!! just joined the org. and I must say this is by far the best information sight for maxima. I have a 96 se pearl white not orignal color , I have no performance mods at the moment other than a dynomax muffler. I have 19" dynos with nitto 235/ 35 19s. The wheels are crome 14 lbs apeice, so my total gained weight is 8 lbs. with tires. I also have apexi springs with tokico struts for a 1.75 drop. I have altezza tail lights with clear fronts. I also have a wolf bra. My windows are tinted haif frost and smoke. I was lucky enough to have a friend that have a salvage and rebuiding yard. So I have an extra engine and transmission out of a 96 GXE with 60 thousand miles. My car now has 146000 miles with no problems other than starter. I rewired the fogs and did the reverse parking light bulbs. My friend also have a 97 I30 so I got the crome inner door handles, all the dash wood grain, rear seat with head rests, I have black leather. the 97 bose stereo, it was different from mine. Q45 rear speakers, My sunroof stopped working so I got that too. I've been driving this car for 4 years and just got remotes this weekend. Future plans are a y-pipe, intake, underdrive pulley, stillen body kit. I have a set of 300zx brakes just need instructions to put them on. the best thing about it is everything was free. I try to read the org. everyday so I guess you can say I'm diehard nissan I will post pictures as soon as I can. bye the way my other cars are 1990 300zx, 1985 monte carlo SS on nitrous and 1964 corvette under rebuid. I did all the work myself. Well I guess I took up enough of your time so I'll read on. keep in touch. I'm an aircraft mechanic.

Your wheels are 19" and chrome, yet they only weigh 14lbs? Can you show us a picture of this wheel? What is the exact name of the wheel...is the model called "dyno" or is the manufacter called "dyno"?

The wheels are 14 lbs. They are centerline dyno's and they are crome. The tires are 28 lbs. apiece for a total of 42 lbs. The factory weight for each wheel and tire is 40 lbs, so I have a total added weight of 8 lbs. at least that's what centerline qoutes for wheel weight.

Damn, centerline really does make amazing rims. Now I know where to go if I want more bling without adding a ton of weight, though they are expensive as hell.
