Apexi Ws Burning bumper
I just installed the Apexi Ws on my 97 maxima. Unfortunately the WS is hanging a bit high. It is actually touching the bumper and when it gets hot enough the exhaust seems to burn the bumper. There is also a problem about the exhaust knocking on something, tow hitch maybe? It gets annoying!!! what is happening? Is there a remedy? Please help I can't go to far without fixing this problem i don't want a burnt max.

Yeah I did do research but in the process of doing the research I found that may people liked the sound and performance that the apexi ws provided.
So i wanted to experiment with this exhaust.
I just want to know if i can do anything before i send it to the muffler shop?

I just got the apexi back from the exhaust shop. They did have to bend the arms on the apexi. They had to bend the left and right upper arms to position it better. Before i sent the max to the exhaust shop, the apexi was touching the bumper and hanging off to the right. Now the apexi is repositioned in the center and is flush with the bumper (not touch it at all). Overall, the apexi is an exhaust that need a few modifications to fit the later 4th gen maximas but these are only minor adjustments that can be done easily and inexpensively.
