I hope you're not just putting LEDs in the door jambs. This is sounding like a rice project. I hope to see it soon though.

Wait you're making all the exterior lights to have LEDs, right???

well, its a small area, so even with experience i would rate it a 2. only soldering i had done prior was big wires to big wires... so i had more trouble, i would say a 3 rating (mainly cuz i got frustrated)

Man....you are the first guy i have ever seen with the LED's int he Door handles. I use to have them in my Sentra like that, and was just trying to get a Good LED deal somewhere....

You said to "Get LEDs on ebay straight from Hong Kong from the vendor "cwithk""

I will definatly do that....

Besides, why would you want to spend all that time making custom LED bulbs for all of your lights? That is alot of PC board, solder, and resistors.......

Hope you got the voltage stepping right.....

Don't you worry, it's coming out better than planned. Yes, it is a lot of everything...

but who said that I am making custom LED bulbs for all my lights??? I never said that....

Will this be something you might consider mass producing? If the demand is there of course.

SXN try installing mod chips on a v1 ps2, 26+ wires and contact paths the size of a pin...

No way will I mass produce this. If someone really wants me to do this mod for them, I wouldn't even think of doing it for under $600, just takes way too much of my time.

I just hope you have been marking progress for a write up, because i am a L337 solderer and might just do it myself this winter.....

also...cost per LED.......

and do you remember how many it took to do your car on replacement??

Just trying to get a list going......

I will not be doing a write up on this. To be honest, if someone wants to have this on their Maxima, it would be up to them to figure it out This isn't something I want to see popping up everywhere. It is a one off with the exception of a friend of mine who I will be doing it for.
Cost per LED was roughly $.20 on ebay
