Starter motor replaced - 2nd time (AutoZone)

Bought an AutoZone starter a little over 2 years ago & replaced it at 85k mi.

Yesterday, at 106k mi, the starter began bogging & turning slowly; today, I couldn't even get it to crank at all.

Got the car home after pop-starting it, (5-speed) & pulled the starter out. Brought it to my local AutoZone & they exchanged it for a replacement, no questions asked.

(I had forgotten that it came with a lifetime warranty until I looked at the receipt).

I had heard some negative things about AutoZone starters & alternators after I bought the first one & I can now confirm that the starter motor I got from them was crap. It barely lasted over 20k mi!

Uninstall time: 20 mins
Replacement time: 25 mins

Review: (AutoZone) poor quality starters (IMO), but excellent replacement warranty.
