Body Side Moulding

how are the Body Side Mouldings fastened? is it clips or double sided tape or both. mine seem to be coming off and i noticed clips on the molding but just a whole in the door.

If you are referring to the Stillen side skirts they should be riveted on. Double-sided tape alone won't hold for long.

no, im referring to the factory Body Side Mouldings

does anyone know where i can get the clips (actually the part that fits in the door not the moulding)

Your probably better off getting them from Nissan. You can try http://www.courtesyparts.com/
If you have the time you might be able to find a salvage yard where you can pick some off a Max. Another alternative is to try a body shop they may even stock those clips.

thanks. they came with the max when i bought. i wasn't crazy about them when i got it but i guess they are nice. i actually posted them for sale on this site about 6 months ago. i actually like the stock wheels.

props to the denon in the car. some good stuff. on my 98 it looks like just 2 holes in the door. u sure there is a clip in the door?

not sure about the clips in the door but there are the male part of a clip on the moulding so i thought there should be a female end in the door. that's what i want to know. i bought the car used and there were no signs of an accident accept fot the fact that it looks like the moulding where re-applied with double sided tape whic is now coming off.

there is also wheel well mouldings which i think i am going to just remove all together.
