steering wheel sensitivity...

i was in my friend's honda accord late 80's model...and i tried the steering wheel and it was VERY light. I didn't have to put any effort into steering all the way right or left. On my 96 GXE, it takes a little more effort to turn..and it just doesn't match up to the accord. anyone know how to put a little more "lightness" into the steering wheel? thanks
Funny-most car owner enthusiasts complain taht the steering is too light. Not sure about the GXE but the SE has speed sensitive steering meaning the steering takedmore effort at higher speeds. You also didn't mention if your wish to lighten the steering was to jockey a parking spot or to change lanes on the highway. Also-the 80s Hondas steering was TOO light and gave no road feel to the driver-but thyen again it was a 4 door economy car and has come a long way since...
