got my 1997 nissan maxima SE about 2 months ago and i was told that their was an oil depsoit on the right side, from the drivers stand point, of the engine bay close to the right front tires. I know their is a lot of talk about the oil pressure sender unit but i just want to know if anybody in this forum has/have had a similar problem like mine. Any suggestion on what my be the prob. Tried going to pepboys(sons of bia**ch's) for a diagnostic but apparently the oil deposit has been their for a while so they couldn't use their ultra-violet lite thing to diagnose anything. NEED SOME HELP.

 

I had a deposit when i bought mine, i immediately changed the sending unit and haven't had a leak since.
