Sachs Vs Exedy
Witch one is the better stock clutch replacement?
Ive had sachs and it held nicely...but i see the stock replacements of Exedy on ebay for $114
Please inform me why...my guess is , you get what you pay for, but I would like to find out so maybe I can catch me a deal.

While I have no experience with a Sach's clutch on Maxima's, I've had and heard of good experiences with Sach's clutch's from the Volvo and BMW crowd. I had Sachs clutch on my 84 242 turbo Volvo pushing 190@the wheels at the time, and it never slipped at all.....and I was pretty rough on it.....quite a few drag launches on it. It had almost 70K on it and still had a decent amount of material left. The only reason I replaced it was because I installed a different flywheel. If its available, try to get the Sachs HD clutch, it grips a little better than the standard replacement Sachs clutch.
