That a$$hole of a mechanic quoted me a $2000 ballpark figure for parts and labor....my dad was ****ed to say the least.....but he knows when someone is trying to screw us over....so we're gonna pick up the car and get the parts ourselves and see whats up.......wish me luck....I don't think I'll ever get another underdrive pulley again....specially not RVM

You could get a new engine and someone to put it in for less than that. F that mechanic.

i dont understand y every1 is having problems with their RVM pulley mine has been working great for a year and a half... i had mine installed at my mechanic here in NY.. and no it wasnt jeff(maximum tunning) just a local shop... we followed the RVM instructionsd and worked fine... i have significant gains, as well as 2 other poeple i know off the top of my head with 0 problems...

sorry to hear about ur problems.... you should sometimes have a mechanic install parts that way some1 and be liable for damages on worng installs good luck

Didn't we all know that RVM pulleys are bad?
I've known about it for a least the past half-year. And have had that specific information about the RVM pulley on my http://maxmods.dyndns.org/?MaximaUnderdrivePulleys page.
