Doesn't one of the O2 sensor holes have to be plugged?

I believe 99.5 and up have the O2 sensor at the cat, and not at the B-pipe like the 97-98. I have also read a few members fitting the EVO for 5th gens on with no problem.

That's what I'm thinkin'.. Tried talking to Greddy people, but they don't know what 1999.5 Maximas were

I believe you're right. I have a EVO on my 95, bought it off a 99.5 Maxima. Fits fine on mine but it sticks out a little more then it should cause I have a 95. And the o2 sensor is plugged on the b-pipe I think.

If it's a cali spec 99, then there is no O2 sensor after the ypipe.
