Squeeking clutch pedal after long drive
After I drove today for a long time in the highway/city, The clutch pedal started to creek and squeek and is felt through the pedal when I press on it. I located the noise which was comming from the trannys pressure plate/ TO bearing/ Fork area. After the car cooled for awhile, the squeek went away so I think the heat caused the parts to bind up or something to cause the squeek and creeking. I have drove the car for long periods of time before and never noticed this creeking sound but this is the first.
Has anyone had the same experience? what was the cause? how to stop the noise?

yea, under that rubber boot. I wanted to spray some wd-40 but was afraid that some might get into the clutch disc and cause chatter so instead I used some all-purpose oil with a long sprout and just put some oil on the pivot of the fork.

not shure because I think what fixed it is that the tranny cooled down. I think that the heat made things bind up somehow. As for now its back to normal. hope the sound doesnt come back thats for shure

now I have a clicking noise when I step on it (no its not from the sensors since I never had any sensors when I converted to 5sp)
all the sounds are from in the tranny not the pedal itself. Weird noises p!ss me off.
