clock and overdrive question

clock and overdrive question

i just bought my 98 last week and noticed when i took it home hat the over drive dosent do anything when i press it. on my old 89 light would come up on my dash instrument to indicate that the overdrive was on/off but on this one there is so light or no difference.

also my clock isnt working at all. can anyone help me out please?

yeah, you bought a messed up car. Didn't you drive the car before you bought it? The OD and clock might just be a wiring problem. Drive the car and see if you have 2 or 3 shifts, don't step on it just go easy and feel the shifts...

i havent driven the car since my last post but i remember feeling a few shifts as i 20 or so. is this problem expensive?

the car shifts normally when i drive it at low speeds
