This is primarily a Red/Clear Idea. I was thinking about taking a 96 taillight housing apart, painting the inside of the housing and paint it reflective chrome. Then taking apart altezza lights, and painting the bottom half of the clear outside lens transparent red and mounting it on the stock housing.

To sum it up...basically you are swaping the red/amber lens with a diamond clear/red lens from altezzas and painting the inside housing to reflect the light. Would this work? I would do all 4 lights so it would be a red/diamond clear taillight.

Yup, sounds like a good idea. Don't know what the deal w/ the altezza light is tho.....I was going to experiment on making rear diamond red/clears soon though.
