Alright I'm gonna be putting in my blue leds for my front window switches soon and just wanted to check two things

I have a 5mm leds..how do I mod them to fit into the spot where the 3mm is supposed to be

And which side of the led is positive and negetive so I dont fry it

 

#1 Go with 3mm LEDs, you can buy them here for cheap! www.superbrightleds.com

#2 Usually the side with the log end is the (+) lead, you can also look inside the bulb...the arroq looking thing points to the (+) lead on the LED...
