5 spd owners- How many miles on your ORIGINAL clutch before replacing?

Just wondering, how many miles have you put on your max before the original (brand new, from the dealer) clutch went out. Just wondering, I have heard 40,xxx miles before, and I feel lucky having 149,300 on my original, even with aggressive driving.

I've got I think 82k on mine and I go real easy on the clutch so hopefully I'll be able to get a lot more mileage out of it.

I went 145,000 K on my clutch before it went out. Its hard replacing them once they do. Prepare for a lot of 4 letter words

I have 144,000 on my original clutch right now and she's been through alot of abuse: xxx bottles of spray(not on anymore), xxx hole shots, many trips to the track. It was holding up well until my first run at the track on friday, although i managed to pull a 2.2 60' and a 9.5 1/8 granny shifiting into 2nd. Like I said she was holding up well until i shifted into 2nd and hit redline sitting still bye,bye stock clutch.

I had 85k on mine, and it didn't start slipping until I installed the supercharger, which is to be expected.

Replaced mine at 80k. Wasn't slipping real bad, but bad enough to make me want a new clutch. Could have lasted another 10k miles for sure. I got my car brand new when I was 21 and I didn't go light on the shifting. Lots of 1-2 chirps in that car. Not so much anymore, but back then I was a little rough with it.

My brother has 100k miles on his original clutch on his '98.

101000 miles on my 7 year old clutch with no slippage. 43 1/4 mile passes, 3000-5000rpm launches, and lots of 2.2X 60 foots also. On the street I don't launch hard nor do I shift hard because there's really no point unless I'm running against a clock.

60k on my stock...aggressive driving. Not a single slip once but I'm prepared financially if it does go out.

i changed my clutch as soon as i bought my car...
when i first bought it it had 94k miles on it...
the reason i changed it is because i felt my clutch was slipping a lot i dont know what the previous owner did to it... but it had to be bad haha lol

Got about 80K on my 98. No serious slippage...can still smoke the tires into second, but a couple times when I had people in the car and hit the gas a little hard it slipped. That's with a fair amount of aggressive driving...but I double clutch my downshifts which helps.

107k, oem. Doesn't slip, but squeaks in the engine bay, and rumbles/vibrates on disengage.

also it's sitting right now with a dry master clutch cylinder.

132K so far, and still feels good on my '96 I-30. Had the clutch hose replaced at one point because of constant leaks in the clutch hydraulics. My ex-gf told me my clutch wouldn't last very long because I engage it slowly in first gear starts while city driving. Guess she was wrong.
