Leak in the exhaust?

Leak in the exhaust?

today i notice that my exhaust has a leak in it where the y pipe meets the cat.is this affecting performance at all or is it no big deal. its not like it is a major leak but it is definitly leaking.any help would be appricaited thanx

not much if the leak isnt bad, swing by an exhaust pro shop and let them tighten things up !

I agree, but get on it before it becomes a major prob, cuz I let mine go too far and it sounded like really bad. . .not goo for your valves either, well once it gets too big, they charged me 12 dollars to fix it.

What does the leak sound like? I started to hear a humming noise coming from my ypipe. Is this the sound of it just breaking in? I only had the ypipe for about 2 1/2 weeks maybe 3 and I just started to hear this noise last week. You dont hear it when you're in park only when your're driving. Does anyone know what this is?
