a filter is the same as our lungs......

smoking is bad for us....it is bad for our car.

smoke = carbon & co2 which = build up and performance hinderances.....

only good thing about filters over lungs is that you can replace filters.......and they dont get cancer.....

We are having the same problem here in San Diego with the smoke and the ashes. I know of 5 people at my job that lost their homes .

Just clean your filter after the ashes are all gone.

just use a filter recharger, or clean it off really good. worry more about the people in san diego than the intake

Thanks.
Where is your sensitivity my fellow Org Member? People have lost their lives and their homes ; Firefighters and Paramedics are exhausted, but you could only think of a K&N filter? I have Faith in your Humanity so I will go no further to question your devotion to the Human race.

Forget about the filter -- just buy a new one when the fires subside. In the meantime, maybe you should camp out by the ocean...
