for my K&N filter both on cold air and hybrid setup, it makes that "hissing" sound between 2,000rpm-2,600rpm. not too long ago i cleaned my K&N filter with the recharger kit. yet it still making the same sound. the K&N filter is in nearly perfect condition, no scratch or whatsoever. but it's hella annoying. right now i have it on hybrid setup. anybody encoutered similiar problem?

for stillen and JWT filter users, do you guys get some "hissing" sound as well?

There is a hiss noise on CAI's for sure but i dont think that is what youre using. Sounds like there could be a leak somewhere by the filter or along those lines.

BTW, if youre using a K&N or something along those lines, you should consider cleaning the throttle body. I just took apart my intake and cleaned all the black soot off. it was amazing how much had accumulated and possibly went into the engine

the hiss is normal, there was a conversation awile back about this and everyone with a aftermarket intake has it. If you dont like it, put the stock intake resonator back in and the hiss goes away.

my intake makes this weird whistling/crickety type noise...i guess its normal.

seriously though...the squeeky/whistling/hissing noise is normal for the intake. just have to live with it.
