just wondering if anyone ever "changed" the P/S fluid to synthetic.

I am looking at my bottle of P/S fluid (valvoline? large bottle, still 1/2 full) and dunno what to do with it. I bought that thing 3 years ago to replace the fluid on my 93 Chevy. The steering was well improved after the change.

Not sure if there will be any adverse effect on my Max though.

Haven't figured out how to get all the old stuff out... I'd prefer not to break any of the connections if possible... I may have to though.

I think you can just use standard synthetic ATF as the manual calls for ATF.
