I have a short ram on my car right now. The mid pipe is from the ebay kit (gray hard plastic?) but wanted to know if swapping it with the frankencar midpipe will make a difference at all...if so....in sound or performance?

I highly doubt it. I had a home made one and it worked fine. Of course a loss in low end made be go back to stock. By low end I mean slow driving with the gears shifting before 2k rpm...
