I was looking for some info on the Acura TSX which is the 4 door RSX aka integra. At first I didn't know what they meant by saying that but after I read the 2 page article, at the end of the 2nd page they had the specifications of the car and that's when I found out why they said "spirit of the old Nissan Maxima."

This is the reason:

0-60 mph: 6.6 sec
1/4-mile: 15.5 sec @ 90 mph

Surprisingly it performs just like our 5spd 4th gen max's but one thing doesnt make sence to me. how could it peform the same when it weights about 200 pounds more, produces 10 hp more and 50 torque less! both at higher RPM's ? could someone please explain what makes this possible?

2004 ACURA TSX......................1998 Nissan Maxima SE

200 hp @ 6800 rpm...................190 hp @ 5600 rpm
166 lb-ft @ 4500 rpm.................205 torque @ 4000 rpm
3250-3350 lb............................3014 lb

C&D Article

It's funny how C&D remembers the performance of their cars, but yet again, maybe they remembered it because its a MAXIMA !!!

This article is from june or july and was already posted numerous times. On the other hand I think it might be a different one. In the other one they mentioned the 4drsc and the 3rd gen. Saying that all newer maximas were **** compared to the 3rd gen. Ans they wonder why I cancelled my subscription...
