Like ironlung said the car practically sings, the sounds is awesome sort of like a whistle. This is a must mod

Oh it's a good sound no doubt. I'm going to try and get some video clips of Lungs car within the next day and post them for everyone to hear.

What was install time?

Great to see some people out there intested in the headers. Best way to open up the exhaust

Good job with keeping everyone informed, skepticism may finally start to wear down.

Looking forward to before/after cam dynos!

People say the same exact thing with a Y pipe install too.

Have those people tried a y-pipe vs. headers? It's easy to be biased against something you don't have.

I was just saying don't rely on feel and sound cuz people get the same exact things from a Y pipe ( the hissing, hard pull ). People have tried both headers and Y pipe like Ethan and saw no gains. Yes, the catman show dynos for the gains of there headers...but they never did a before and after with a aftermarket Y pipe...The f pipe was stock; so yes there dyno shows like a 16 HP gain over stock...but the Y pipe alone has showed the same thing and in some cases more for people.

You guys know that these things give maybe 4-5hp over the y-pipe right? Remember how some time back some dude imported some headers from australia but the gains were so minimal, 4-5hp over y-pipe, that no one wanted them? The same with that noshua guy. He had the shorty headers for a lot cheaper than $750. Those probably got like 5hp but he never posted the dyno. It's pretty much the same stuff except the price. I know that these give power under the curve but we don't know if the other ones did too or not. What I'm saying is what's the point of getting these when the other ones are A LOT cheaper???

I suspect the other, cheaper ones gave zero or negative gains seeing as how Nashua disappeared into the night without ever revealing what the dyno said.

I heard a rumor that the guy who got the headers disapeared on Nashua.

I'm just spreading rumors...

It definitely has a stronger pull up top, but the temp has dropped a good bit the past few days. Makes it kinda hard to tell how much was gained with the headers. I've only been around town so I've only done a few short burst, but I should be able to tell more once I get a chance to drive out of the city.

We can argue all day about the headers but it's pointless.

bottom line: Headers make power, the cattmans are the best out there, and as for the price, if people spend over a grand on rims, ~500 on a bodykit, ~150 on taillights, etc etc for no reason but cosmetics, why can't we spend 750 on some nice headers to beef up the exhaust system? are all the haters out there just mad because they already spent ~2 hundred on a y-pipe? Gains under the curve are very important btw.

There's also these obx. I think they probably have a good product, but nobody on this forum has tried them and posted results.

Sorry I've been away for a while. We have been really busy at SWA and I'm the only one who does installs. I've still got a couple of full days left, but after Tuesday or Wednesday I should have some free time to head up to the dyno. We've made some vids, we just have to get them hosted. As far as the track, we had some problems starting a customers car last Saturday so myself and Alex weren't able to make it to the track till late. It was also the same night that Y2KSESteve got blindsided by the Impreza. It has been a crazy week. I'm doing my best to get these test out for you guys, I've just hit a few bumps in the road.
