Neutral Position Switch for M/T
Neutral Position Switch for M/T
Okay, I admit it. I'm one of the apparently car-challenged folks who managed to break the neutral position switch while changing my transmission fluid. <sheepish grin>
I've got a new one all ready to go but I'm having some trouble getting the old one out. Everything is ready to be pulled off but I cannot for the life of me get the electrical harness connector for the old switch free. It's apparently clipped to a bracket on the transmission. I worked at it for about 45 minutes last night trying to unclip it with no success.
Has anyone actually gotten this thing unclipped? Or am I going to have to <shudder> loosen the bolt on the tranny holding the clip to get the clip off to get the connector off?
Thanks guys!

Okay, what's the best way to get at it? So far I've managed to not take anything major off to get as far as I have. I guess I'm stuck removing the air intake and other things attached in the vicinity?
Thanks for the quick reply!
