OK the air enter the stock intake wear the hood almost opens. and goes past the battery. and right before it gets to the stock air filter there is a sensor. I have no clue what do. What did you all do with this, and what is it.

it is an air temp sensor. either locate it right beside your filter of do as I did and drill a small hole in your MAF and locate it there.

I am not sure if you are talking about the ambient air temperature sensor. On my car I don't have a sensor before my stock air filter, but there is one after it, on the top part of the stock filter housing/intake. If this is what you are referring to, just zip tie it behind the pop charger. There is a metal bracket that attaches to the top part of the MAF, where the MAF gets bolted to the intake, on the top bolt closest to the firewall. I reused this small gold colored metal bracket on my JWT intake, wrapped the excess ambient air temp sensor wiring around it, and zip tied it to . Had no problems.

i continued installing it and i just left it be to see if anything would happen. The service engine soon light came on. so postion it right next to the filter? it is like plug type sensor. i just hope t does not mess anything up.
