Screwed up wheel alignment
Screwed up wheel alignment
I just went into get my wheel alignment checked out because it was steering to the right. I know that only the front toe is the only aspect that can be changed so I got a front wheel alignment. It turns out that the front wheels are fine, but the problem is the driver side, rear toe. It's at .55 degrees. The mechanic has many differing opinions on as why the toe may be so off. Everything from my sway bar to wheel bearing. So today, I take it to Nissan adn they tell me that it CAN be fixed...as long as they find the problem..-.- I was wondering if any of you guys can help me find a solution (hopefully not costly) because it's bugging me. Also another problem is that, when I start from standstill, my steering wheel jumps to the right for a second then corrects itself back, anyone know what might cause this? Nissan mechanic said it might be torque steer..but I'm clueless...and I don't like trusting mechanics. So any input would be helpful!!
I feel your pain in terms of the alignment thing, only I get it when I'm braking, like one of my calipers is seized...
The hard jerk you get is at medium to Wide-open-throttle, and it's definitely torque steer....
