Ignition Coils

Ok, so today I was checking the OHMs on my ignition coils... and I got 1.55, 1.67, and 1.67 on the fronts... and 1.67, 1.67, and 1.78 on the backs... I'm thinking that the 1.55 is bad? I had a misfiring problem last week and thought it may be the coils....

Did you check which cyl was misfiring? I would check that coil pack first. If you did, what was it reading?

Ignition Coils seems to be a major problem lately, in the past week I have seen 5 different threads on this forums, including some on maximadriver.com's forum. I myself just replaced all 6 coil packs on wednesday. 3 of them were broken, so I said screw it and did them all to save on future headaches.

Also, check the coil pack amd make sure there arent cracks in it. That alone is enough to cause the car to misfire every now adn then. This is a big problem on VWs.
