will this fit my 96 max

it says 99-03 but if it fits a 99 wouldnt it fit a 96?

most likely it is meaning build date so by his reckoning a 99 would actually be a 00 model year. but then again we've recently found out that the 00-01 tranny fits the same so.......

Southwest autoworks lists a different price for their 95-99 and 00-03 bars, so I'm guessing they are not the same.
