Anyone experiencing noises with Motivational/AGX setup?

I'm getting the noise on the right side when the suspension extends over bumps. If you try to rock the car it doesn't make the noise. I even rode in the trunk to see if it was really the strut but with the added weight, the noise quieted down. I'm thinking I need to get urethane bushings to replace the stockers that are being used with the Motivational Bushings.

I can't really help you with your noise, but my Motivational mounts came in on friday and they came with poly. bushings.

Ahhhh the famous klunk from the rear. My car even did it with the OEM mounts & 4x4 springs last winter. As it gets colder, it gets worse. All summer it's pretty quiet. I'm 99% sure it's the valving in the AGX's that are noisy and that it being transmitted up into the shock tower via the mount, OEM or Motivational. If you go with urathane or shim the washer to hold the top tighter, the noise gets louder. Loosen up the center nut to make it loose and the noise gets a little quieter.

I have a set of rear Illuminas that I'm just about ready to put in the rear of my car. The only reason I'm going to swap the rear AGX's is because of that noise. I only hope the rear Illuminas will keep my car riding the same as it does now. I really like the control the AGX's gives the rear suspension.

Deezo, try to loosen up the nut on top by about 5 turns and see if that noise gets any quieter. If you put urathane bushings back there, I bet you it gets worse.

ughhh! i thought i was the only one! and i thought it was my exhaust (i couldnt rock it enough on a lift to hit anything), or maybe the spare. i read tom's response, which is not making me feel any better about the issue!

Thanks Tom. I first thought it was the trunk linkages because it sounds like its coming from the rear deck. The noise sucks and makes the car seem like its falling apart. Did you try running at a lower setting to see if the noise stops?

Dmk8: I took everything out of the car to find that nothing I did stopped the noise. Tom. Let me know how the rear Illumina's work out. I may pic up a set.
