I was just wondering if i could stop my engine from ticking, ive tslked to some people about it and they said that it could be the lifters. ive put some cleaner in the oil but that didn't help.is there any threads on this or does anybody know how i could fix this very annoying problem??.

The engine doesn't have lifters, so that ain't it.

Use a long screwdriver and put it on top of one of the fuel injectors. Put your ear up to the end of it. I bettcha that the ticking you hear.

My stock injectors were crazy loud!
