apexi ws or dual exhaust
hey guys just thinking bout upgrading my exhaust and i was looking around and was just wondering what you guys think. I was either thinking about gettin the apexi world sport catback exhaust or getting the bolt on exhaust from custommaxima.com.i just had a couple of questions from you guys first. How many of you guys have dual exhaust from either custom maxima or gotten it done some other way. I was jsut wondering how you did it, i mean custom maxima or exhaust shop. any information on that would be great. also i was wondering if anyone could tell me the performance gains between apexi world sport and the bolt on dual.
o and can someone please send me a sound clip of the apexi ws. i saw earlier that someone had a sound clip form inside and outside the car and i cant find that link anymore. so if you could please pm me.

well as far as gains i would be about the same, personally i think the dual is damn right sexy, but if you look at the description its still only one muffler with it split after the inlet so it doesnt sound much different then a single. a dual that splits before the muffler and then has two mufflers sounds awesome and would have a little less backpressure but its also alot heavier too. so it all comes down to what your personal prefferance is. me im going with a custom dual with two muffs.

Does the apexi sound anything like the greddy cat back system? i was comparing those 2 but which would sound better, i was looking @ the greddy cause it was cheaper, but i dont wana attract more police and i dont want any rice!!!

GREDDY cheaper? what? Used maybe. A greddy goes for ~$480 when the apexi is$400 shipped. The 2 exhausts will not attract police, unless you get a y-pipe and even then it depends if the cop is a ****. I have the WS with y and cat and NOBODY bothers me cops or ricers. In fact I beg that a riceboy shows up once in a while cause I haven't raced anyone in months...

does your exhaust sound like takentomax? i dont know if he has a Y-pipe.

i'm in the same club. apex (and magnaflow, i guess) sound pretty good the rest of the exhaust stock. i got budget y&b and a magnaflow muffler, and its raspy
