Chilton manual worth it?

I saw one for like 18 bucks shipped on the chiltons. Is it worth it? Haynes or chilton?? GImme feedback fellas...

I have both about 2 years and never could draw out something useful from Chilton. Anyway, you can see it on the web for free. Sorry, don’t remember an address.

i have chilton but i dont really use it, if u really need to c somethin just get it from a library or ask on this site, people would tell everythin u need.

That OR you can go to the dealership and make FREE copies of the actaul repair manual.... without buying anything but the gas to get there....

I have a Chilton's manual for my 95. One thing I really dislike about it is the fact that it covers 93-98 Maximas. It sucks cuz it's hard to tell which generation of Maxima it is talking about, or showing in the pics.
For my knock sensor replacement, it hardly told me anything. It just told me that it is located under the exhaust manifold, and that the intake manifolds must be removed for replacement. This bothers me, because the KS is under the intake manifold, not the exhaust mainfold, and I didn't have to remove the intake manifolds at all!
Maxima.org is far more helpful than my Chilton manual.

yea but its nice to sit back and read it.. so u can learn ya no? Umm so maybe i should go with haynes? I need something more specific for the 4th gens.. i dont want a 4 year gap.... ya no>?
