sorry, I just can't find it

All right, this may have been asked before, but, I searched and couldn't find anything on it. 95 Max, the drivers side power window switch will not close the drivers side window. All the other switches on the panel work as do all the other window switches. I have a spare battery and ran wires to it and ran the window up and down. That would make me believe the motor is fine, right? So I call Nissan they want 145$ for a new window switch!!! I call my local junkyard they want 75$ better but when I get there they tell me that if it doesn't work it's not their fault and I can't return it. I don't want to pay that much for something that might be broken, I already have one that is broken for free. If anybody can give me any advice on a way to fix the problem or where to find a new switch for less $, it would be thanked.

You could try taking it apart. Something inside may not be making contact, and its causing it not to work.

Get one from eBay or ask in the Classified section of the forums. You can unscrew the switch from the trim thing and put it on your trim (so don't worry about what color you get)
